Wikis
Well I have to say after watching the video I got a little excited about how useful a wiki could be. Then I started looking at some actual wikis and I was a little disappointed. Many of the wikis that I saw just seemed like a weak version of a website. I looked at the Michigan Library's wiki http://mlcnet.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and most of the information on it just seemed like the normal things anyone would find on a regular homepage. On the other hand I did come across a wiki that gives a tutorial about creating an online survey, which could be very handy http://trainingwiki.pbwiki.com/ (although it is 44 pages long!). I believe wikis have some great potential, but there also seems to be a lot of crap that people have to wade through to get to the good stuff.

Hi - I've been enjoying your blog - and also I tagged you -
“Six Random Things” meme.
Here are the rules for Six Random Things:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.
That’s it for the meme — of course, there’s no obligation to do it — only do it if you want to.
