Technology

Well since I can write about any Technology that I want then I will tell everyone who is reading this blog that my arms and KILLING me! So I got the wii for myself a few weeks ago and then this weekend I bought the game "Rayman Raving Rabbids." This game made me do more exercise then I have done in two years. All I was doing was waving my arms around like a mad person since I had to throw cows and smack bunnies upside the head. The game is weird but very fun and addicting. Currently I don't have internet at my apartment and to be honest I don't really feel like I'm missing much. Books and video games seem to be good enough for me.

Getting back to this WLS learns thing I would have to say that the exercises have been helpful overall. I wasn't afraid of delving into new technology I just never found much of a reason to do so before now. I do see that some of this might be helpful in a library setting and it is important to stay current with things that teens are doing.

Blogroll

Ok so I add a Blogroll which consist of the participants on WLS Learns. I only added people who have posted recently so no offense to anyone else. The things about these blogs is that I highly doubt anyone but John is reading mine. So I feel like to can say anything, which I know could end up biting me on the butt. Anyway I will try and curb what I write and enjoy learning all of these technology things (which I have heard of, but have been ignoring).

Bloglines

Well I have mixed feelings about Bloglines. My first response is Holy Crap there is way to much information bombarding me at once! If people want updates of from all of the websites they visit it wouldn't be so bad if it was just a few sites. On the other hand I had signed up for over 14 feeds and until I stuck them all in folders it looked way too messy for me. Personally I like going to the websites I have saved on my favorites because I like to see the design and layout of them. Bloglines seems to loose the image quality and is just straight up information. The only thing I would really use this for would be if I wanted updated info for News websites. I honstely do not like reading random people's blogs and my friends don't keep one.

But just incase anyone was wondering what my Bloglines looks like here is the public link:
