Apparently I've Been Tagged

Well I just noticed that I was tagged by Marci Dressler her blog link is http://marcidressler.wordpress.com/ So apparently I'm supposed to do this...
Here are the rules for Six Random Things:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

Ok so Six random things about myself;
1) Well I hate talking about myself...
2) I love plants and my apartment is slowly being over taken by them.
3) I've never been to Canada, but I've backpacked throughout Europe.
4) I am very competitive and I hate loosing at any type of game, but I've gotten better (I don't hit people who beat me anymore).
5) I just held a Chihuahua a month ago for the first time and fell in love with the dog. Always thought I'd hate them, but it was like holding a little furry baby.
6) My Grandma gave me crazy Leopard print sheets for Christmas and I'm not sure I'll ever use them...not my style.

Now I guess I'm supposed to tag other people and make them do this too.

Well this is all I could come up with, it is hard trying to find people who haven't done it yet.

Wikis

Well I have to say after watching the video I got a little excited about how useful a wiki could be. Then I started looking at some actual wikis and I was a little disappointed. Many of the wikis that I saw just seemed like a weak version of a website. I looked at the Michigan Library's wiki http://mlcnet.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and most of the information on it just seemed like the normal things anyone would find on a regular homepage. On the other hand I did come across a wiki that gives a tutorial about creating an online survey, which could be very handy http://trainingwiki.pbwiki.com/ (although it is 44 pages long!). I believe wikis have some great potential, but there also seems to be a lot of crap that people have to wade through to get to the good stuff.

The Picture is of Yoshi the coolest character in any Mario game.

Typealyzer

Wow. So this is pretty accurate to a certain extent. It is also kind of creepy...

ESTP - The Doers
The active and play-full type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.
The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

Twitter (WLS Learns #8)

Well...I don't think I like Twitter. I have Facebook, after my friend made an account for me since I was reluctant to get in contact with people from my High School, and Twitter as some similarities to Facebook that I don't like. Facebook has that Home Page were people can read what everyone is doing. People can be very nosy about everyone's business. I don't want people knowing if I'm sleepy or late for work, etc. No one is that special and who actually cares? It isn't news worthy if I take a poo. I also don't have internet at home right now so it would be really hard to update this thing. By the way my name for twitter is JamieLKay, but I don't think I'll be using it.

Twitter for the library could work as a way to update people about library closing or upcoming events. But they would have to be following the twitter feed and I just don't see people doing that is large groups. Teens might...but only if they already have a Twitter account.

Library Thing (WLS Learns #7)

Ok so this doesn't look all that different from Shelfari. But it was way easier to put Shelfari on my Blog as a widget then it is for Library Thing. I can't figure out how to do it and I don't really want to. I like the look of Shelfari better then Library Thing. I also don't want to update two different book lists every time I finish or start a book. So that is all I have to say about that.

My Baby With Conan (WLS Learns #6)

Hahaha! I did that Babymaker Image Generator thing. http://www.vw.com/vwhype/babymaker/en/us/ I got the site from The Generator Blog list. It reminded me of a sketch that Conan does "What is they Mated?" Because I thought of Conan I used him as the Dad. I'm kind of disappointed that the kid doesn't have orange hair though....Anyway this kid has some weird features, but overall looks ok.
